Every container moving between the north-east, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and the rest of India passes through Bengal. Two deep-water ports, land ports at Petrapole and Fulbari, inland waterways on the Hooghly and the eastern dedicated freight corridor together make the state a logistics proposition rather than just a location. Six multimodal hubs are notified with land available.

Net State GST reimbursed for ten years from commercial production.
Multimodal park incentive
Capital support for rail-connected and waterway-connected facilities.
