THE OPPORTUNITY

Building the state that comes next

Bengal's urban growth over the next decade will be concentrated in second-tier cities, and the state has chosen to build that growth green from the start — certified buildings, common effluent treatment, decentralised water recovery and electrified public transit. Eight projects are live, structured for private participation on concession or annuity models.
