Downstream of an existing complex
Haldia gives Bengal something few states have — an operating petrochemical complex with feedstock available at the gate, a deep-water port on the same site and an established chemical engineering workforce. The opportunity is downstream: specialty chemicals, polymers, agrochemicals and intermediates that currently travel from western India to serve the eastern market.

State GST reimbursement
Net State GST reimbursed for ten years from commercial production.
Feedstock linkage facilitation
Assistance in securing feedstock supply agreements from the Haldia complex.

Access to common effluent treatment at notified chemical zones.
